In "Refugio," the gaze rests on a country house resisting the silence of the snow. The steep roof, covered in a layer of white , seems to protect the warmth felt behind the lit windows. The setting, dominated by bare trees and a half-buried fence, conveys stillness and isolation.

The gray and white palette, softened by the watercolor technique, envelops the scene in a melancholic atmosphere. However, the faint orange glow emanating from the interior breaks the visual cold, suggesting refuge, intimacy, and life.

It's a work that needs no words: just look at it to feel the crunch of snow under your feet and the desire to warm up.
